Angel CoonAngel Coon

Angel Coon is a Democrat running for her first term as representative for House District 102. A native of Holton, Coon is a veteran, art studio owner, and mom of two. These experiences have shaped her values and helped her foster the discipline and determination needed to be an effective representative. If elected, Coon’s priorities would include protecting constitutional rights, civil liberties, and bodily autonomy; supporting small businesses and local communities; increasing funding for education and mental health supports; and making government more accountable and transparent. Coon is running against Republican incumbent Curt Vanderwall. Vanderwall espouses right-wing views on many issues and has developed a conservative voting record in the legislature. Vanderwall has also been endorsed by Right to Life of Michigan, an anti-choice organization. Angel Coon is the best choice in this race.
