Rink is a lifelong Yooper and healthcare provider who worked at Planned Parenthood for 17 years before Republican cuts cost her and others their jobs. She lives in Marquette with her husband, who is a police officer, as well as her kids.

Rink has seen firsthand the effects of politicians ignoring the needs of the Upper Peninsula and other rural areas of the state, and she’s running to give them a voice. Public safety, healthcare, affordability, jobs, the environment, and education are her top priorities.
