Ben ChristlyBen Christly

Ben Christly is challenging Republican incumbent Kevin Waters to represent the 17th Legislative District in the state House. Christly is a Navy veteran, flight nurse, small business founder, and father of three. He has spent more than 20 years working in healthcare, including in emergency rooms, critical care, and as a flight nurse. He was elected to the Clark County Charter Review Commission in 2025 and co-founded Ben's Bottle Shop.

Christly's campaign is focused on making Washington more affordable, strengthening public schools, expanding access to healthcare, and creating pathways to good-paying jobs. He supports fully funding public education while expanding early learning, apprenticeships, trade programs, vocational training, and community college opportunities. He also emphasizes supporting small businesses and advocating for housing policies that stabilize costs and help more people stay in their homes. Drawing on his experience in healthcare, military service, and small business, Christly says he would bring a compassionate and collaborative approach to the Legislature and work across differences to find practical solutions for the district.

Ben Christly is a dedicated public servant committed to making the 17th Legislative District more affordable and creating more opportunity for people across the district. He is our choice to be your next State Representative.
