Bernie ScolaroBernie Scolaro

Bernie Scolaro spent a career as an Iowa teachers' union president and school board member, fighting vouchers and protecting LGBTQ+ students, before moving to Sun City full-time two years ago. A Hillary Clinton caucus captain back when Iowa was key, and Kamala Harris's campaign once sought an endorsement directly. Scolaro might be new to Beaufort County but is not new to the fight.

"We must believe in the good of all people and for all people.  We must stand up for the marginalized and for those who are silenced by fear and hate.   I am willing to be their voice." --Bernie Scolaro
