Blake SavoyBlake Savoy

Blake Savoy was elected town clerk in 2025. He previously worked in the Town Clerk's Office under the previous Clerk Mariah Dillon and Deputy Clerk Cindy Katz. Every time people come in, whether it's for a dog license, a marriage certificate, or a question that sends us looking into records from before any of us were born, he looks forward getting to say, "How can I help you?". Says, Blake, "The thing that inspires me the most about Danby is the community. I think it can be much harder to find community in places that aren't "walkable"- there are just fewer happenstance opportunities. But I see people in our community counteract that everyday. Grabbing a coffee, meeting up to go hiking, or just stopping by to catch up. I'm glad to be a part of that, and excited to continue doing it as Danby's town clerk!"
