Brandon D. WoolfBrandon D. Woolf

Brandon Woolf has served as Idaho State Controller since 2012. Raised on his family’s dairy farm in Preston, Woolf oversees the state’s central accounting and payroll systems and has focused his tenure on financial transparency, accountability, and modernization of Idaho’s financial systems.

Let’s talk about Idaho State Controller 👇

Most people skip this race… but this is literally who watches where your money goes.

The current guy is Brandon Woolf — and he’s been in that seat since 2012.

So what does that actually mean?

He’s not out here making headlines…
He’s the one:
✔️ Tracking state spending
✔️ Overseeing payroll
✔️ Making sure the numbers add up
✔️ Running tools like Transparent Idaho so YOU can see where your tax dollars go

Basically… he’s Idaho’s financial watchdog.

His whole brand is simple:
Keep it accurate. Keep it transparent. Keep it boring (in a good way).

And honestly?
For a role like this… boring usually means things are working.

The reality check:
If you’re someone who wants stability and accountability in how the state handles money — he’s been doing that job for over a decade.

If you’re someone who thinks government needs a shake-up across the board — then you’re probably looking for something different.

But this isn’t a flashy position.
This is a “do you trust the person managing the books?” kind of role.

👉 So I’m curious…
