Representative Pettersen knows that gun violence is preventable if we have leaders in Washington DC who have the courage to stand up and fight for our children’s future. In Congress, she’s been an active member of the House Gun Prevention Task Force and cosponsored legislation to ban assault weapons, close bump stock loopholes, and strengthen background checks.

Since being elected in 2022 to represent suburban Denver, Rep. Brittany Pettersen has been an advocate for the U.S.-Israel alliance. She backed supplemental security assistance for the Jewish state. The Coloradan also supported bills that sanction foreign ports and refineries that process Iranian petroleum and extend restrictions on Iran’s ballistic missile program.
