Chandra Dillard sponsored bills this that were actually policy work: updating safe-haven laws to allow newborn safety boxes (with Republican co-sponsors), barring housing discrimination against Section 8 voucher holders, a tax credit for people caring for aging family members, eviction timing reform. Most stalled in committee, but the one bill that passed, allowed housing authority to formally designate court representation and it passed the house unanimously.
She has been working as the state rep for District 23 since 2008.
