Frederick D. Haynes IIIFrederick D. Haynes III

Deeply committed to equitable urban planning, Dr. Haynes will champion policies that invest heavily in historic neighborhoods stripped away by racist gerrymandering, while fiercely fighting against gentrification to ensure families can stay in their homes.

Our Revolution is proud to endorse Rev. Freddie Haynes for U.S. Congress in Texas’ 30th District — a lifelong movement leader whose decades of pastoral leadership and community organizing in Dallas have been rooted in the fight for justice, dignity, and opportunity for all.

From organizing for economic dignity in Dallas to speaking out against the genocide in Gaza, Rev. Haynes has never been afraid to stand up to power.

He will take on the powerful and defend our communities, fight for climate justice, deliver universal healthcare, and abolish ICE.

Haynes believes every child, family, and community deserves to live free from the fear of gun violence. He will work across sectors with law enforcement, faith leaders, educators, and community organizations to address both the immediate threat of gun violence and its root causes through opportunity, prevention, and public safety.
