Rep. Gil Cisneros, who is in his second nonconsecutive term representing a Baldwin Park and Covina-based Southern California district, has shown his support for the U.S.-Israel relationship. In his first term, the Californian signed a number of pro-Israel letters, including one urging the administration to reject the politically motivated investigations of the ICC.

Gil Cisneros is running for re-election to Congress in California’s 31st District. He won the top two primary with 61% of the vote on June 2. As an former officer in the U.S. Navy, Under Secretary of Defense, and education nonprofit leader, Cisneros has dedicated his life to service, taking action, and getting results for people. Cisneros devoted himself to philanthropy when he purchased a winning California Mega Millions lottery ticket in 2010. He has worked to strengthen schools and promote access to quality education. In Congress, he serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Committee on Small Business. He is also a member of the Congressional Freethought Caucus. Cisneros is a Roman Catholic and an ally of our community.
