Greg NanceGreg Nance

Rep. Greg Nance is running for re-election to Position 2 representing the 23rd Legislative District, a seat he was appointed to in late 2023. Nance is the CEO of the nonprofit Run Far Foundation and founded two organizations that have helped fund students' university educations. He is known for his running videos around the Capitol, where he interviews other legislators. In his relatively brief time in the Legislature, Nance has focused on improving and increasing funding for local ferries, including securing an additional $80 million for ferry construction, maintenance, and workforce expansion. He also supported legislation aimed at stabilizing rent prices, reducing gun violence, and providing more mental health support for young people. Drawing on his own experience with addiction in his youth, he emphasizes meeting people where they are and making more efficient use of public resources. More recently, he has continued advancing progressive priorities, voting to support rent stabilization, strengthen gun safety measures, and expand environmental protections. Nance has also earned many endorsements from fellow legislators and several of our progressive partner organizations. Greg Nance has earned your vote to serve another term in the Legislature representing the 23rd Legislative District.
