President Trump won this largely rural, majority Hispanic district, making Democratic Rep. Gabe Vasquez a top target for the midterms. Republicans have a fantastic candidate: Greg Cunningham, a Marine combat veteran and long-time police officer who had never run for office previously but felt compelled to step forward after Charlie Kirk's assassination.

Congressman Vasquez is one of just two Democrat incumbents in competitive races who voted for Congressman Thomas Massie's proposal to ban foreign aid to Israel. It's never easy to beat incumbents, but Vasquez is just too out of touch and outclassed by his opponent to breeze to reelection again.
