Irene Benson is a two-decade nonprofit exec and mom of three, she's running on the unglamorous, specific stuff like fighting rural hospital closures, keeping phones out of classrooms, and pushing back on data centers getting built in people's backyards with zero community input.

This is someone who's looking at the cost of living and saying we have to fix this for our district.
