EMILYs List recruits, trains and supports Democratic pro-choice women candidates at every level of the ballot. By helping to elect these women to office in 2025 and 2026, we’re not only building a foundation for the future, but we’re also putting strong women in charge of decisions that affect women and families every day — from the legislators who write laws to the attorneys general who defend and enforce them to the secretaries of state who ensure access to the ballot.

Rep. Jenna Jacobson is a community volunteer, former financial analyst, and current Wisconsin State Representative running to flip a seat in the Wisconsin State Senate in November.

Representative Jenna Jacobson’s commitment to public service was shaped by her mother, a single parent and pastor who balanced raising two children while relying on food stamps and pursuing her education. In 2022, Jenna won a seat in the State Assembly, where she serves as ranking member for the Committees on Agriculture and Sporting Heritage. In office, she has co-authored bills to increase the minimum wage, provide tax credits for housing, provide Medicaid coverage for new moms during the first 12 months, and protect every woman’s right to full reproductive health care. A win for Jenna would be a big step toward flipping the Wisconsin State Senate and securing a Democratic trifecta.
