Jennifer HawksJennifer Hawks

Hawks is a retired business executive who believes the Treasurer's job is simple: “Take care of the people's money like it's your own”. Adding, “California’s fiscal challenges did not happen overnight. They are the result of years of decisions made without sufficient scrutiny or long-term discipline. . . . I believe the Treasurer has a responsibility to ask hard questions, follow the money, and provide clear answers to the public when something doesn’t add up.”
