Jeremy is an excellent YIMBY voice to advise the government of DC.

Incumbent Sherman has been in close alignment with GGWash’s priorities since his first term as a commissioner. He’s particularly interested in the structural changes needed to facilitate better neighborhood management, and his prioritization of well-maintained public spaces—“​Land-use policy cannot be separated from what happens at street level. Adding housing and transit investment should go hand-in-hand with stronger public spaces, active storefronts, cleaner streets and neighborhood amenities”—is highly relevant to ANC 1A’s purview.

We appreciate Sherman’s opponent Henderson’s response to our questionnaire, but do not feel that his views are as compatible with ours as Sherman’s.
