Joe NeguseJoe Neguse

As a leading voice on the Climate Crisis committee and the lead Democrat on the Subcommittee for Federal Lands, Joe is a fierce protector of natural spaces. He consistently fights back against proposals to sell off public lands and leads the opposition against cuts to vital environmental research labs.

As a vice chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force and as a member of the House Judiciary Committee, Representative Neguse has worked hand in hand with GIFFORDS to introduce legislation like the End Gun Violence Act, which would prohibit the sale of a firearm or ammunition to any person who has been convicted of a violent misdemeanor.

Rep. Joe Neguse, a supporter of the U.S.-Israel alliance and member of the House Democratic leadership, is serving his fourth term representing Boulder.
