We need more housing, more clean energy, better infrastructure, and a government capable of delivering them faster and more affordably.” As a Democratic executive, Rand knows that delivering on progressive values requires a stronger public sector. Mayor Rand’s experience running the largest brokerage firm in Rockland County has given him a front-row seat to the housing crisis unfolding north of New York City, where the average sale price of a home has nearly doubled since before the Covid pandemic.
