When Rep. Letlow was elected to represent Louisiana’s 5th congressional district in 2021, she became the first Republican woman ever elected to Congress from Louisiana and the first woman of either party to represent Louisiana in the House in 30 years. Since then, she has prioritized creating and bringing jobs to her district, improving education, and protecting the agriculture, logging, oil and gas industries. She serves on the Appropriations and Education Committees.
