Salt Lake County Clerk Lannie Chapman previously served as a Deputy District Attorney and Chief Deputy Clerk, helping oversee successful local, state, and federal elections through the pandemic. Elected as Clerk in 2022, she has led nationally recognized innovations improving ballot reconciliation, poll worker recruitment, and voter accessibility. Lannie serves on the U.S. Election Assistance Commission Standards Board and its executive committee.

Lannie Chapman is running for re-election as the Salt Lake County Clerk to ensure every voice is heard and every vote is protected. As County Clerk, she administers one of the most successful vote-by-mail systems in the country, making voting safe, accessible, and convenient for Salt Lake County residents. Lannie is committed to maintaining high voter turnout and protecting the integrity of our elections.
