EMILYs List recruits, trains and supports Democratic pro-choice women candidates at every level of the ballot. By helping to elect these women to office in 2025 and 2026, we’re not only building a foundation for the future, but we’re also putting strong women in charge of decisions that affect women and families every day — from the legislators who write laws to the attorneys general who defend and enforce them to the secretaries of state who ensure access to the ballot.

Senator Liz Boldon - As a medical professional, she understands that a healthy environment and health water means healthy families. She has a track record of listening to community concerns and fighting for what is right. Our water is safer because of Senator Boldon's work.

Liz Boldon is a nurse, mom, and Minnesota State Senator who has built her career around caring for people and strengthening the communities we all depend on. After more than two decades at the bedside as a registered nurse, Liz brought her deep understanding of how policy affects real lives to the Minnesota Legislature, where she has become a clear, steady, and principled voice for equity, opportunity, and democratic values. She has championed reproductive freedom, worked to expand access to affordable healthcare, supported strong public schools, and fought for policies that ensure every Minnesotan has the safety and stability they need to thrive.

Liz has served as an Assistant Majority Leader, the Vice-Chair of the Senate Housing and Homelessness Committee and is Co-Chair of the Inclusive Democracy Caucus. Running for re‑election, Liz is focused on building a Minnesota where everyone — no matter their zip code, income, race, or identity — has the chance to succeed. She brings people together, listens deeply, and leads with clarity and hope, always guided by the conviction that our shared future is worth fighting for.
