Mariannette Miller-MeeksMariannette Miller-Meeks

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks has been a supporter of the U.S.-Israel relationship since she was elected in 2020 to represent Davenport and Iowa City. After October 7th, she cosponsored and voted for legislation backing Israel and affirming its right to self-defense while condemning Hamas and its barbaric attack on the Jewish state.

The U.S. Chamber recognizes Congresswoman Miller-Meeks for her work on behalf of Iowa businesses, particularly her support for pro-growth tax policies and her engagement with small-business leaders across Iowa’s First Congressional District.

Incumbent

In 2020, Rep. Miller-Meeks was elected to Congress by a six-vote margin — one of the closest races in U.S. election history. She now uses her platform to fight for conservative values. A military veteran and doctor, Miller-Meeks serves on the Veterans Affairs Committee, where she chairs the Health Subcommittee, and also on the Energy and Commerce Committee.

Four candidates vying to represent Iowa in the U.S. House of Representatives also were designated as a Friend of Agriculture by the PAC Committee: Mariannette Miller-Meeks in the 1st District, Joe Mitchell in the 2nd District, Zach Nunn in the 3rd District and Chris McGowan in the 4th District.
