Representative Marjorie Decker has made climate and environmental protection a top priority during her 12 years in the House. In the 2024 climate omnibus, she secured language establishing workforce standards for clean energy procurement, helping advance a just transition to a clean energy economy.

Since 2013, Marjorie Decker has been a leader on climate in the State House. She is committed to protecting families from toxic PFAS, ensuring strong labor standards for the green workforce, and preserving energy efficiency programs like Mass Save.

Rep. Decker has been a consistent and outspoken champion for LGBTQ+ people, particularly transgender people and access to gender-affirming healthcare. As Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Health, she has played an important role in protecting healthcare access and responding to attacks on transgender healthcare. Her leadership to establish a first-in-the-nation trust to help sustain gender-affirming care demonstrates the kind of proactive leadership LGBTQ+ people need during a time of unprecedented attacks on transgender people nationwide.
