Marlón Durán is the Green Party candidate for Congress in District 28. (McAllen / Laredo area.) Marlón Durán is running for Congress to end the negligent rule of the two big capitalist parties over our country, and to finally give a voice to the needs of our gente in South Texas! With many years of experience as a community organizer in the RGV, Marlón has demonstrated the strength and integrity to fight for our people, without selling out. After seeing the Democratic Party step on the will of the voters in election after election, and witnessing the self serving corruption of Democrats like Henry Cuellar, Marlón knew that he had to run as a Green. The Green Party is the only party with ballot access in Texas that doesn't take any corporate PAC money! This guarantees that the Green Party will NEVER betray working people, and always put our interests first.
