“Our campaign is proud to be a movement led by queer organizers to challenge the political status quo, one that all too often neglects the rights of our most vulnerable in favor of acquiescing to the establishment. Because our movement is led by queer people, we have the opportunity to elevate queer perspectives on issues that disproportionately affect LGBTQAI+ individuals such as healthcare access, affordable housing, homelessness, and public education.

The LGBTQAI+ community needs progressive representation in the Georgia Statehouse championing issues that matter to our community. At a time in which the rights of Transgender individuals are under attack, we cannot allow lax leadership in the Georgia State House. As a member of the queer community, I will fight against legislation that seeks to target vulnerable members of our ranks.”
