Megan Griffin-ShelleyMegan Griffin-Shelley

Megan Griffin-Shelley is my choice here because of her background. She was also endorsed by Mary Jo Daley, who currently holds the seat (and is retiring). Megan has worked for other state legislators and she understands how the system works. I think that will help her a lot with the job. She also has experience in local government and education.

Megan is a lifelong resident of the 148th District and a proud member of the Montgomery County Young Democrats. She has dedicated her career to public service as a former middle school teacher, an elected Township Supervisor, and Chief of Staff to State Rep. Nancy Guenst. Megan has spent the past five years as a legislative staffer, helping residents navigate state services, building coalitions with local leaders, and securing grant funding for communities. She is also a former Democratic committee person and committee Co-Chair. Megan is passionate about expanding access to healthcare, ensuring everyday essentials are more affordable, and safeguarding our democracy. She is focused on making government more responsive and effective for all Pennsylvanians.
