Representative Natasha Hill is running for re-election to represent the 3rd Legislative District. Born and raised in Spokane's Hillyard neighborhood, Hill owns a law practice in Spokane and is a single mother of two children. As a civil rights activist, she has worked with Spokane Community Against Racism (SCAR) to protect free speech and the right to peaceful protest, and she serves as editor of Black Lens, a monthly newspaper focused on Spokane's Black community and local justice issues. Much of her advocacy work is based on her own experience growing up in a low-income household on Spokane’s North Side, where she witnessed the need for all communities to access basic needs like affordable healthcare, good wages, stable housing, and high-quality educational opportunities. During her time in the Legislature, Rep. Hill has been a strong advocate for progressive priorities, including the Millionaires Tax and other progressive revenue sources, as well as for increasing the supply of affordable housing in Spokane. She is seeking another term to continue expanding opportunities for working families, supporting public education, and improving public safety through greater accountability and wraparound services for communities that need them most. Natasha Hill is the best choice for House Position 2 representing the 3rd Legislative District.
