Pat is taking on corporate price-gouging, fighting to expand paid family leave, and advocating for tax relief for middle- and working-class families while making sure billionaires and corporations pay their fair share.

Representative Ryan is no stranger to supporting and defending commonsense gun safety laws: In 2019, as Ulster County executive, he led a coordinated effort between law enforcement, local government, and educators to implement New York’s extreme risk law.

Rep. Pat Ryan has been a consistent supporter of the U.S.-Israel relationship during his two terms in the House representing a Poughkeepsie-based Hudson Valley district. Ryan backed supplemental security assistance for Israel and supported a letter denouncing South Africa’s accusation of genocide against Israel before the International Court of Justice.

Every endorsed candidate voted for the Faster Labor Contracts Act, a Teamsters-backed bill that would streamline the process for newly organized workers who are working to secure their first collective bargaining agreement. "It's an honor to support this bipartisan group of incumbents, because the Faster Labor Contracts Act is a gamechanger, and it will empower workers more than any federal law that's been passed since the New Deal," said Thomas Gesualdi, President of Teamsters Joint Council 16. "Support for this bill is a litmus test for whether a member of Congress actually supports the American worker, and every one of our endorsed candidates passed that test with flying colors."
