Richard Pan is running for Congress in California’s 6th District. He placed second in the top two primary election on June 2 against the Independent, former Republican, incumbent Kevin Kiley in a field of seven candidates. Dr. Pan is a doctor and public health advocate who we need to stand up to Trump and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s attacks on health care and science. During his service in the state legislature, TIME magazine named him a “hero” for his groundbreaking legislation to increase school vaccination rates to halt the Disneyland measles outbreak in 2015 in the face of vitriolic attacks by RFK Jr. and anti-vaccine extremists. In Congress, he will demand that science and facts guide federal policies on health care, public health and the environment. Dr. Pan is a Presbyterian and an ally of our community.

In a district made bluer by Proposition 50, Dr. Pan is uniquely positioned to take the case to “MAGA champion” Kevin Kiley, as he tries to hide his extreme record from voters.
