In 2018, Representative Horsford was part of a freshman class that handed Democrats a gun safety majority in the House and a mandate to advance legislation designed to keep American communities safe for the first time in years. Since then, whether in the majority or the minority, he has partnered with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to fight to make progress on gun safety.

Serving his fifth term representing northern Las Vegas, Rep. Steven Horsford has been a committed supporter of the U.S.-Israel alliance. After October 7th, he cosponsored and voted for legislation backing Israel and affirming its right to self-defense while condemning Hamas and its barbaric attack on the Jewish state.

“Steven Horsford has been a steadfast champion for working families and voting rights in Nevada. In a time of rising threats to our democratic institutions, his leadership in NV-04 has been grounded in inclusion, fairness, and economic opportunity. He continues to show what accountable, people-first governance looks like.”
