ISBA:
Steven Quaintance McKenzie was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1997. For most of his career, he has been with the City of Chicago – Law Department. Presently he is Supervising Assistant Corporation Counsel in litigating matters of building code enforcement. Prior to this, he was in the Housing Division.
Though his particular area of law does not get a substantial amount of litigation, Mr. McKenzie’s legal knowledge, ability and temperament is well suited for a judicial position. ISBA finds Steven Q. McKenzie qualified to serve as a judge to the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Note: LAGBAC said not recommended.
