They join their fellow members Marissa Roy and Estuardo Mazariegos on our team of union leaders, renters, tenant organizers, parents, and activists who are running for office to fight for working class values and create real change across Los Angeles.

Yaritza Gonzalez is an Inglewood native and graduate of Inglewood public schools who holds degrees from Dartmouth College and UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs. A former Fulbright Public Policy Fellow, she currently serves as a Policy Manager at CARECEN-LA, advocating for immigrant students and families. She is running on a platform to strengthen neighborhood schools, keep ICE and AI companies out of classrooms, and bring transparency, accountability, and local leadership to the district. Yaritza is relatively new to DSA, but is running as a Democratic Socialist, with a deep history of organizing in Inglewood, primarily with Democratic clubs and progressive non-profits. DSA Los Angeles is proud to endorse Yaritza Gonzalez for Inglewood Unified.
