Montana is the first state to successfully get a ballot initiative to end dark money in their state, proving that we don't have to wait on Congress, or wait for a new Supreme Court, or even our own state legislatures.
Voters can petition their state now for a ballot measure to outlaw dark money. This is how we pressure candidates in 2026 to be responsive to their voters and not corporate donors.
