Question 2: Parks and Recreation Millage Re Establishment Proposal

This proposal reestablishes the 0.25 mill Township Parks and Recreation millage previously approved by the electors that expires on December 31, 2026.
Specifically, this proposal renews the previously authorized 0.25 mill Township Parks and Recreation levy.
Shall the limitation on the amount of ad valorem taxes which may be levied by the Township of Clearwater, Kalkaska County, Michigan, against taxable property in the Township of Clearwater be renewed at 0.25 mill ($0.25 per $1,000 of
taxable value) for a period of (4) years, 2027 through 2030, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for the operation and maintenance of Clearwater Township public parks? Shall the Township levy such millage for these purposes?
If approved and levied, this millage would raise an estimated $50,130 for the Township in 2027.
