Indiana Secretary of State

VoteVets endorsed. U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

As a seventh generation Hoosier and a U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Officer who rose to the rank of Captain, Beau knows how to lead with integrity and transparency. In the Marines, he was trained to run toward tough fights, not away from them. As our next Secretary of State, he’ll fight to protect Hoosier taxpayers, clean up corruption and insider dealing, and stand up for the rights of Hoosier voters.

Beau Bayh is a seventh-generation Hoosier who was raised to believe public service means actually serving the public — not yourself. For Beau, that meant joining the United States Marine Corps. He served as an Infantry Officer, where he rose to the rank of Captain. Following his honorable discharge in 2023, Beau earned a law degree. Following graduation, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk in Bloomington for the Honorable David F. Hamilton on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, gaining valuable experience in election law and securities fraud cases. Throughout his career, Beau has been guided by the lessons he learned as a Marine: when facing tough fights, you run toward them, not away from them. That’s how he’ll approach the job of Secretary of State. He’ll immediately clean up the corruption and wasteful spending that has brought so much shame to that office. He’ll also fight to keep our elections secure, free, and fair while working every day to increase voter participation in our state.

“Beau Bayh is running a campaign centered around cleaning up corruption and protecting taxpayer money in our state government,” said Jason Clark, Senior Political Director for the Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters. “This is a message that our members and all working Hoosiers can get behind, regardless of political party. We’re proud to support him in this endeavor.” “Beau Bayh is a leader who will put working Hoosiers first and will bring common sense solutions to the challenges facing our state,” added Brian Short of the Indiana Laborers District Council. “The Laborers District Council is proud to support his efforts to clean up the Secretary of State’s office.”
