Michigan State Senate, District 22

Robert Hower is running for her first term in the Michigan State Senate.

Hower understands the importance of education. His parents worked at Washtenaw Community College and the Michigan Department of Education. He continues their legacy as a research engineer at the University of Michigan and a part-time faculty member at Wayne State University. He started a medical design and production business which now employs five people.

If elected to the Senate, Hower would focus on addressing the rising cost of living, supporting public education, and plans for innovation.Hower opponent in this race is Mike Murphy. A MAGA Republican, Murphy came under scrutiny in 2025 for using taxpayer-funded resources to promote a fundraising event for another MAGA Republican, Senate candidate Mike Rogers. Murphy is also endorsed by Right to Life, an anti-choice organization.

Robert Hower is the better choice in this race.
