Clay Middleton's resume: Citadel grad, combat veteran, Lieutenant Colonel, Bronze Star recipient, Obama White House appointee, staffer for both Hillary Clinton and Cory Booker, longtime aide to Jim Clyburn. It could not be better if it was copied from a candidate resume handbook.
He grew up in public housing in downtown Charleston, and now runs a scholarship fund with his wife for kids trying to get out the way he did.
Clay Middleton is one of the competitive targets YALLvote has identified in the South Carolina State House, which is currently 89R-35D. Click here to donate to Clay Middleton.
