My name is Gretha Solórzano. I am a UC Berkeley-trained scientist, a retired nuclear engineer, and a candidate for Governor of California. As a pragmatic moderate, I am committed to bridging political divides and uniting Californians—conservatives, liberals, and independents alike—around practical solutions that work. My mission is simple: make California affordable and sustainable again. I will strengthen our economy through strategic investments in advanced energy and water infrastructure, including redirecting the $32.7 billion we currently spend on foreign oil toward domestic production to improve energy security and keep jobs here at home. I will also tackle California’s housing shortage, and I will reverse the decline in our education system. With my technical expertise, fscal discipline, and results-oriented leadership, I will create jobs, lower utility costs, and deliver long-term growth for all Californians.
