Democrat Jack McEntire is running for the 15th Legislative District, House Position 1, against incumbent Republican Rep. Chris Corry. McEntire has served as vice-chair of the Yakima County Democrats. While his current campaign website is not functional as of early October, he previously ran to bring affordable healthcare to all, stating that "healthcare is nonpartisan and immigration status doesn’t factor in." McEntire also campaigned to advocate for improved higher education and vocational training for all, not just for the wealthy.
While this is somewhat of a low-information race with no endorsements and few concrete policy details available, we believe McEntire is the best choice.
