Although unopposed school board elections means Support CCS isn’t actively campaigning for specific candidates this year, it still vetted Stephanie Flittner, incumbent Jennifer Cashin and Michele Kirby before giving them its support. “It was not a blanket endorsement by any means,” Ohmer said. “It was the same application process that we have always used. We very much told our vetters that even though this is one (candidate) in every district, we still want your honest opinions of them.”
