Re-elect Trustee Jessica Guerrero to keep Anaheim Union High School District Board on the right track for progress.
Jessica Guerrero has served as trustee for Area 1 since she was elected in 2022 with 44% of the vote in a field of three candidates, and is currently the board president. She was the first Latina elected to the seat, in a district where more than 70% of students are Latino. As a trustee, Guerrero has strengthened collaboration with the community to address food insecurity, expand student internships, and support student safety. She is a policy advisor for the Orange County Board of Supervisors and leads an internship program. Guerrero previously served as a teaching assistant at UC-Irvine. She and her family are graduates of Anaheim public schools. Guerrero earned her bachelor’s in public administration from California State University-Fullerton, and master’s in public policy from the University of California-Irvine, and was a first-generation college student. She is endorsed by Orange County Young Democrats, OC Action, Chispa, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, Orange County Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento, Anaheim Mayor Ashleigh Aitken, and many education leaders.
