Karla Bigham is a lifelong Washington County resident, public servant, and Washington County Commissioner representing District 4. A proud Cottage Grove native, Karla has served her community on the Cottage Grove City Council, in the Minnesota House and Senate, and on the Washington County Board, where she previously served from 2015 to 2018 before returning in 2023. As County Board Chair in 2026, she continues to focus on the issues impacting families and growing communities across Washington County, including public safety, clean water, affordable housing, workforce development, and strong local infrastructure.
