Democrat Rep. Mia Su-Ling Gregerson is running for re-election to Legislative District 33, Position 2. Previously, Gregerson served on the SeaTac City Council, including a stint as mayor from 2008 to 2015, and helped to bring the $15 minimum wage initiative to Seattle in 2014. Gregerson has been a consistent progressive leader throughout her tenure in the Legislature. In particular, she has been a champion for immigrant protections, sponsoring legislation to ensure paid sick leave during immigration proceedings and transparency in employer audits. Gregerson also sponsored legislation to improve digital equity, advocating for increased broadband access and the right to repair digital electronics. Through secondary sponsorship, she supported several progressive priorities, including compliance with the Voting Rights Act, improving language accessibility in government materials, and increasing emergency housing capacity. Mia Su-Ling Gregerson continues to be a progressive champion who leads with compassion. She is uniquely attuned to the needs of her district and has earned another term representing residents of the 33rd Legislative District in the state House.
