Randall Winston received the LA County Federation of Labor endorsement, and is backed by UTLA, AFT 1521, SEIU 721, former governor Jerry Brown, and DSA-LA Socialist in Office Hugo Soto-Martinez. His platform cites connecting students out of LACCD schools to good union jobs, ensuring students needs are met on campuses, with more councilors and a basic-needs hub, creating more transparency into how district dollars are spent, and ensuring the trustees remain reactive to the campuses. With strong labor backing and a clear vision that supports working class students, vote Randall Winston for District 6.
