Sandra BuendiaSandra Buendia

My name is Sandra Buendia, and I am running for the Salt Lake City School Board, Precinct 5. I bring 37 years in education, including 27 years serving SLCSD students and families. My experience across the K–12 system and at the district level gives me a strong understanding of student needs and how decisions impact schools and the community. I believe in public education. As a parent and grandparent of SLCSD students, I am personally invested in our schools. My priorities are to engage students, involve parents, trust teachers, and support leaders to ensure student success.
