Heather Hart moved to Fort Mill six years ago to be near family and give her kids a shot at the district's top-ranked schools, and now she's running specifically because she's watched the Freedom Caucus try to turn those same classrooms into a culture-war testing ground.

She decided to run because it is important to have a representative in Columbia who can bring people together, build bipartisan support, and protect the community’s interests.
