Montez Aiken
He went from a music education degree and a job teaching public school in rural and urban classrooms straight into a badge, joining the Summerville Police Department as a reserve officer in 2002 and rising all the way to lieutenant, where he ran the School Resource Officer unit as the actual bridge between police, teachers, parents, and kids. He picked up a Master of Public Administration and a City Management certificate from Villanova along the way, then finished the FBI-LEEDA Leadership Trilogy just for good measure.
