Thomas Small is a former Culver City Councilmember whose background is in urban planning, and during his term he focused heavily on transportation policy and transit-oriented development, initiating and leading the city's Transit Oriented District Visioning process. Since leaving the council, he's deepened that expertise regionally, chairing the LA Metro Sustainability Council and sitting on SCAG's Transportation Policy Committee, while also working closely with the development community through Culver City Forward, the public-private initiative he founded to bring residents, businesses, and developers to the table on the city's future.
