Virginia McLean is an Army brat who grew up learning discipline and community moving base to base, then settled down and built a whole life around raising kids up. Literally. She's a former preschool teacher, and currently Director of Religious Education at Spartanburg's Unitarian Universalist Church. She co-founded a nonprofit that turns leftover art supplies into creative projects and environmental awareness. A candidate that is a mom of two energetic boys, an artist, and a minister-in-training-turned-community-builder. She's basically spent her whole career shaping how kids and communities grow, and now she wants to help from the state house.
