Amendment 1: Remove Right to Bail for Certain Criminal Offenses Measure
The list of crimes includes 73 various charges and does not include the full list of what those charges are. Listing "acts of terrorism" means that you might be held without bail for protesting. This gives the state unchecked power to hold people without bail and compromises "innocent until proven guilty." @sumnerdems
Amendment 2: Prohibit State Property Taxes Measure
The last time Tennessee had a state property tax was in 1949 and all property taxes in Tennessee are currently collected by local cities and counties. This is being used to generate fake outrage against a nonexistent issue. @sumnerdems
Amendment 3: Marsy's Law Crime Victims' Rights Measure
The amendment states that Tennessee is not liable if they fail to ensure that victims can utilize said rights. Additionally, the broad language could complicate the due-process rights of the accused. The ACLU opposes this amendment. @sumnerdems
